The first part of the EndoSure Test* is an EGG/EVG test. This fast and comfortable test is conducted using a medical device called the TRICORDER-3L. Three sensors are precisely placed on the abdomen and the patient drinks a glass of water and reclines for 30 minutes.
The TRICORDER-3L detects myoelectric signals from the abdomen and pelvis. Research has found that there is a unique myoelectric signature triggered by endometrial tissue in the smooth muscle of the gastrointestinal tract when compared to patients without endometriosis.²
Calculations using the patient-specific EGG/EVG data from the TRICORDER-3L are performed using the EndoSure support software. The resulting data is provided to the physician as a quantified value, and can be used in combination with other clinical information to support the diagnosis of endometriosis.
About Us
EndoSure offers the only non-invasive, 30-minute test to support the diagnosis of endometriosis that not only fills the gap, but addresses the vacuum in this area of women’s health care.*
